Although it is the smallest town on the island of Hvar, the beauty of Vrboska easily surpasses that of all the others, primarily due to its geographical location. It is situated on the northern coast of the central part of the island, deep in a bay at the end of a narrow, meandering inlet. In the middle of the bay there is an island and numerous small bridges span the channel, earning Vrboska the nickname of “Little Venice”.It is an ideal place to spend a rew days, as many day-trips are possible from here.
