The ACI marina Veljko Barbieri is located in the northeast part of the spacious Slano harbor, which burrowed itself one nautical mile into the land on the northern shore of the Koločepski channel. The marina is well protected from all winds and has been a famous mooring spot since antiquity. One sails into the Slano harbor through a 340 meters long passage between the Gornji and Donji cape. This marina is an ideal base for sailing Elaphiti islands, Mljet and Korčula and on towards Dalmatia.
